Colts quarterback Philip Rivers was signed to one-year deal hoping to bring the team back to the playoffs in 2020.
While his career could continue on after this season, he already knows what he will be doing following his retirement from the NFL.
On Friday morning, Rivers was named the head coach in waiting for the football team at St. Michael Catholic High School in Fairhope, Ala.
Their athletic director will serve as the interim head coach until Rivers eventually retires from the NFL.
