Indianapolis Colts quarterback Philip Rivers passed Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino to become fifth on the all-time passing yards list during Thursday night’s game against the Tennessee Titans.
Rivers achieved the stat on a pass to running back Jonathan Taylor in the flat. Marino had 61,361 career passing yards. In his 17th season, Rivers has been moving up on the career passing stats list.

Rivers is also sixth on the NFL’s all-time passing touchdowns list with 407. The next person up on that list is Marino with 420.
