At this point, the demise of the Houston Rockets is all, but certain. That means they are, reluctantly, willing to move on from stars James Harden and Russell Westbrook in order to move forward.
Harden is the ultimate prize as he is the game’s premier scorer and he would put the Philadelphia 76ers in a position to seriously contend for a title instantly. He has narrowed down his trade destination list to the Sixers and the Brooklyn Nets, although at the moment it does seem like the Nets are his preferred choice.
All is not lost in Philadelphia, though, a local rapper has taken it upon himself to help out the Sixers and try and sell Harden on the Sixers. Meek Mill has reportedly reached out to the 2018 MVP to try and force a trade to Philadelphia rather than Brooklyn.

All Meek has to do is play him “Dreams and Nightmares” and show clips of the Philadelphia Eagles getting hyped with that song during their Super Bowl run. That energy along with the fact that he would be playing with Joel Embiid–the Sixers would most likely have to give up Ben Simmons–in front of a passionate fan base in Philadelphia should be all any player wants, right?
