In what can only be described as incredibly heartbreaking news, Ian Rapoport is reporting that Eagles All-Pro right guard Brandon Brooks has suffered a torn Achilles.

Brooks confirmed the news on his Twitter account moments ago.
So I guess now that news is out yes I tore my other Achilles but when life gives you lemons you make lemonade. I’ll be back and better than ever. Appreciate the love ✊🏽

Brooks played amazing in 2019 and was beaten for just one sack all season and had an overall grade of 92.9 from Pro Football Focus. Brooks’s absence from the Wild Card game against Seattle is a major reason they lost.
Look for Jack Driscoll, Matt Pryor, or Sua Opeta to get the first shot at replacing Brooks. Signing Jason Peters and switching his position isn’t a bad idea either.
