#Eagles Alshon Jeffery and Malik Jackson have agreed to contract adjustments, per sources, making it necessary to agree on a new deal for 2021 or players will be released at the new league year.
Jeffery is receiving a significant pay cut from his $12.75M salary, per source.— Jeremy Fowler (@JFowlerESPN) January 4, 2021
In a move that could have some Eagles fans scratching their heads, Philadelphia has restructured the contract of veteran wide receiver Alshon Jeffery.
What that means for Jeffery’s future in Philadelphia remains to be seen but with Roseman already starting the process of shredding salary cap space, the veteran wide receiver is still likely to be released at some point, or he could stick around by signing an extension.
The Eagles could save about $23 million in cap space if they cut Jeffery and Malik Jackson with post-June 1 designations.
