Philadelphia Eagles to activate 21-day practice window for WR DeSean Jackson after he suffered a broken ankle vs. the Giants

With the Eagles looking to secure a playoff birth over the next two weeks, a familiar name is set to resurface, as Mike Garafalo is reporting that DeSean Jackson is set to return to practice.

The Eagles just confirmed the news.

Per Garafalo, the Eagles will activate Jackson’s 21-day practice window, giving the veteran wide receiver the opportunity to return for Philadelphia’s final two games and a possible postseason.

The injury, similar to the one that Dallas Goedert suffered in September, was supposed to keep Jackson out 6-8 weeks, or until the Eagles Week 16 matchup with the Cowboys or possibly longer.

Considering how the Eagles have worked Alshon Jeffery back into the lineup, Jackson would probably become an immediate starter thanks to the chemistry that he built with Jalen Hurts during the summer.

Jackson is signed through 2023 with the Eagles, but this season is the final year that the wideout has guaranteed money and Howie Roseman could look to move on.
