We’re all craving live sports — iRacing is as close as we’ve gotten — as social distancing continues to postpone and cancel actual events and leagues.
Thanks to Phil Mickelson, we might be getting close to a second edition of The Match, in which Lefty took on Tiger Woods in a one-on-one round that went into overtime back in November of 2018.
On Sunday, a Twitter user reached out to both Woods and Mickelson and asked if there was “a chance” they’d play each other again with a camera on them and mics on. It was quite a shot to shoot.
But Mickelson responded:
Working on it

And he’s not kidding:
I don’t tease. I’m kinda a sure thing

Look, we don’t care if the quality of golf is as bad as it was in the last Match. As long as it’s safe to do it, this would be AWESOME.
