Phil McGeoghan fires shot at NIL while showing his own worth

What are your thoughts on Phil McGeoghan’s NIL tweet?

New Colorado Buffaloes wide receivers coach Phil McGeoghan has an impressive resume that includes working with a number of talented NFL stars.

His presence in Boulder has resulted in some aggressive recruiting and more high-profile prospects should consider playing for McGeoghan.

With all of the NIL buzz lately regarding college sports (football specifically), the Buffs’ new WR coach took to Twitter and expressed his displeasure with the recent movement in the game.

In turn, he also sent out a long list of players he has worked with and showed how much they have made during their careers.

McGeoghan has a point. Sure, NIL money is good for the moment and the present time. However, McGeoghan is showing that he has helped develop a number of stars, and a lot of them have enjoyed successful careers at the next level.

New Buffs offensive coordinator Mike Sanford was watching this unfold and provided an epic emoji tweet in support of McGeoghan’s message.

The NIL craze has taken over college sports quickly, which isn’t all that surprising. However, as McGeoghan mentions, why not go somewhere where you can develop your skills and play the game for a long time at the next level?
