2020 PGA Championship: Bets we’re tracking

$1,200 on Patrick Cantlay to win: $34,800 payout

Cantlay’s last win was at the 2019 Memorial Tournament. He enters the week ranked fourth in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings. He tied for third at last year’s PGA Championship as his best major result.

$1,000 on Webb Simpson to win: $26,000 payout

Simpson has slipped to 13th in the Golfweek rankings despite two wins already in 2020. He missed the cut in two of five events since the PGA Tour’s restart, but he won the RBC Heritage.

$1,000 on Xander Schauffele to win: $26,000 payout

Schauffele’s clearly a favorite of bettors this week with the third-highest share of the betting handle. He has five top-20 showings in six events since the restart.

$5 on Shawn Warren to win: $15,005 payout

Warren is tied as the tournament’s biggest long shot at +300000. A $10 bet would return a profit of $30,000, but it would also buy you a drink while watching the final round in your local clubhouse.

$10 on Alex Knoll to win: $20,010 payout

Knoll has slightly more favorable betting odds at +200000. Again, your money will be better spent elsewhere.
