PFL books Biaggio Ali Walsh for second professional fight

Under the PFL banner once again, Muhammad Ali’s grandson Biaggio Ali Walsh will compete for the second time as a professional.

Muhammad Ali’s surging MMA fighter of a grandson will look to preserve his undefeated professional record this August.

[autotag]Biaggio Ali Walsh[/autotag] returns Aug. 16 vs. undefeated [autotag]Korey Taylor[/autotag] at 2024 PFL Playoffs 2. The event takes place at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. The fight will take place on the main card at lightweight.

Promotion officials recently informed MMA Junkie of the matchup.

Ali Walsh (1-0) went 6-1 as an amateur with six knockouts before his pro debut at PFL vs. Bellator: Champions in February when he defeated Emanuel Palacio by unanimous decision.

Taylor (4-0) is the most experienced test Ali Walsh has faced to date. He’s competed exclusively under the Combat Night (Fla.) promotion. He went 6-1 with them as an amateur and has since gone 4-0 with four first-round finishes as a professional. However, Ali Walsh will be the first pro fighter he’s faced with a winning record.

With the addition, the 2024 PFL Playoffs 2 lineup includes:

  • Impa Kasanganay vs. Josh Silveira – light heavyweight semifinal
  • Rob Wilkinson vs. Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov – light heavyweight semifinal
  • Clay Collard vs. Brent Primus – lightweight semifinal
  • Michael Dufort vs. Gadzhi Rabadanov – lightweight semifinal
  • Biaggio Ali Walsh vs. Korey Taylor
