The PFL is bringing its regular season to Las Vegas during the same week as the UFC’s biggest event of the year.
One night before the milestone UFC 300 at T-Mobile Arena, the PFL will hold an event April 12 at The Theater at Virgin Hotels in “Sin City,” with light heavyweight and lightweight fighters featured on the card.
The news was announced Tuesday as the PFL revealed the first half of its 2024 regular season schedule.
“The toughest test in MMA, the PFL regular season, just got tougher with the addition of stars from Bellator,” PFL CEO Peter Murray said in a statement.
The season kicks off April 4 at Boeing Center in San Antonio. That event will feature heavyweights and the debut of women’s flyweights to the season format. The April 12 show in Las Vegas will follow before the first half of the regular season closes April 19 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago where the welterweight and featherweight divisions will get underway.
As has been customary since its launch in 2018, regular season fighters will complete for a $1 million grand prize to each division’s champion, which will be determined by two regular season bouts and playoffs.
No specific matchups were announced Tuesday. All three events will be available on ESPN, ESPN+ and ESPN Deportes.
