The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had quite the offseason. Not only did they sign future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady and ditch the alarm clock numbers for a more classic look, but they also added tight end Rob Gronkowski and rookie tackle Tristan Wirfs.
The Buccaneers now have the look and feel of a team ready to make some noise in 2020, and Pro Football Focus listed them as one of their five most improved teams. (Note, in the video the voice over mentions that the Bucs finished 8-8 last season, not 7-9.)
Here is one of the main reasons PFF listed the Bucs on their list, where they came in at No. 4.
PFF also had Wirfs ranked as the draft’s second-best tackle, which makes him a steal at No. 13 for the Bucs. Safety Antoine Winfield Jr. will provide a spark to the Bucs’ secondary, and fifth-round pick Tyler Johnson could be one of the steals of the draft.
I’d say that’s an improvement.
