PFF names Browns star Myles Garrett as their Defensive Player of the Year

With the playoffs starting tomorrow, PFF has given Browns star Myles Garrett his flowers after dominant 2023 season.

What a regular season it was for Cleveland Browns, star pass rusher Myles Garrett in 2023. With the regular season wrapped up and the postseason starting soon, PFF has announced that Garrett is their pick for Defensive Player of the Year. It makes sense as Garrett is the best player on the league’s best defense and has grown into a leader both on the field and in the locker room.

PFF gave Garrett a 94.0 overall grade this year with a pass rush win range and an 18.3 percent pressure rate which is just insane. All said and done Garrett had 86 total pressures to go along with 14 sacks pass rush rush snaps this year. Garrett also had 37 stop-and-tackles, and four forced fumbles, and he even threw in a blocked field goal.

It’s as dominant of a season that has ever been seen in Cleveland as he leads one of the best defenses in team history. Next, the to-do list is to terrorize rookie CJ Stroud on Sakick off kickoff the NFL Postseason.
