Bills WR Gabriel Davis has found himself in good company going into the final game of the NFL’s regular season.

The second year receiver out of UCF is tied for the most TD catches in man coverage in the NFL this season with six.

He joins CeeDee Lamb, Mike Evans, and Adam Thielen as the only players to haul in as many scoring tosses.

Buffalo has clinched a playoff spot and will be competing to claim a second consecutive AFC East division crown.

Part of that success has involved the contributions of Davis, who has been one of the team’s most efficient targets. After having playing time and snaps reduced due to the addition of veteran wideout Emmanuel Sanders, he’s made the most of his opportunities.

The WR was a fourth round NFL draft pick in 2020. His progression and production the past two seasons is a testament to the Bills ability to draft and develop later round talent into impact players and starters.

For comparison, Evans was a seventh overall pick in the first round of the 2014 draft and Lamb was a 17th overall selection in the first round from the same 2020 draft class as Davis.

In 15 games this season, he has 510 yards receiving this season along with his six TDs, and is averaging 15.9 yards per catch.

The WR has found his rhythm in the passing game at the right time. His recent performances have played a key role for Buffalo on the offensive side of the ball.

Davis will continue to be a player to watch as the Bills make their charge into the postseason.
