There are dual-threat running backs in the NFL, then there’s Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry, who is actually a triple threat.
Henry is among the best rushers in the game and can impact the passing attack, something he did to the tune of career-high receiving yards in 2022.
But he’s also not bad at throwing passes. Henry flashed his literally massive arm in Week 4 when he threw his fourth-career touchdown pass to rookie tight end, Josh Whyle.
After the game, Henry invoked Peyton Manning — as he always does — and jokingly comparing himself to the Hall of Fame quarterback.
It's getting Whyle in here

“You know Peyton Manning had to show up again,” Henry said after the win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
In a funny, well-done video posted by the Titans’ social media team, Manning responded and joked that he could’ve been known as “a young Derrick Henry” during his playing days.
Yeah, I don’t know about that, Peyton.

After his completion on Sunday, Henry has connected on 7-of-8 career passes for 28 yards and four touchdowns, good enough for a passer rating of 120.
