Former Tennessee quarterback Peyton Manning is one of 25 modern-era semifinalists for the 2021 Pro Football Fame Class.
Manning, who played for the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos in the National Football League is in his first year of eligibility. The semifinalists were announced Tuesday.
Manning has 200 victories in the NFL, including playoff wins. He threw 539 career touchdown passes.
The former Vol won two Super Bowls in his career, with Indianapolis and Denver. He is the only quarterback in history to do so for multiple franchises.
Manning was a 14-time Pro Bowler and a seven-time First Team All-Pro standout. He led the Volunteers to the 1997 Southeastern Conference championship.
Former Alabama and Buffalo Bills linebacker Cornelius Bennett is also a semifinalist. He is the father of Tennessee linebacker Kivon Bennett.
