Multiple UT athletes posted personal best efforts at the 53rd annual Tennessee Relays on Friday at Tom Black Track.
12 Lady Vols bested marks on the second day of the meet.
Maia McCoy posted a time of 11.23 seconds in the 100-meter dash. In the 200-meter dash, Jada Chambers completed the race in 23.83 seconds.
Tennessee’s Allison Rand posted a personal best time in the 800-meter run (2:10. 36). In the same race, Lady Vol Emma Dilullo posted a 2:14.01 and Carolyn Barksdale completed the race in 2 minutes, 14.33 seconds.
Ainsley Cooper posted a personal best time of 4:46.80 in the 1,500-meter run. In the 5,000-meter run, Sarah McCabe posted a time of 18:26.75.
In the pole vault, UT’s Ellison Colarossi had a leap of 3.76 meters (12 feet, 4 inches). Skyler Reynolds leaped 5.78 meters (18-11.75) in the long jump.
In the shot put, the Lady Vols’ Latavia had a mark of 17.96 meters (58-11.25). Kayla Racine had an effort of 49.93 meters (144-1) in the discus. In the javelin competition, Kiara Rhodes had a throw of 30.61 meters (100-5).
On the men’s side, the Volunteers had 17 personal best marks fall on Friday.
In the 800-meter run, four competitors, Alex Kay, Kameron Helmlinger, Joe Hoots and and Preston Ruth, set personal best times.
Peyton Davis posted a personal best in the 1,500-meter run (4:31.36) and the discus (36.67 meters).
In the 5,000-meter run, Max Barbour and Rasheeme Griffith had personal best times.
Darryl Sullivan posted an effort in the high jump with a mark of 2.26 meters (7 feet, 5 inches).
Chance Crawford posted personal best efforts in both the shot put and the discus.
In the long jump, Spencer Brown leapt 6.90 meters. In the triple jump, Carey McLeod posted a mark of 16.08 meters.
Jordan West posted a personal best in the discus (55.90 meters).Yariel Soto also had a personal best in the discus (40.81 meters).
In the men’s javelin, Steele Wasik had a mark of 63.72 meters.
