Perrion Winfrey not at practice, back in Cleveland Browns doghouse

Perrion Winfrey is back in the doghouse for the Cleveland Browns as he was not at practice on Friday.

He is just a rookie, and it is only Week 2, but Perrion Winfrey cannot seem to stay out of the doghouse and stay on the field for the Cleveland Browns. At his press conference today, head coach Kevin Stefanski has stated that Winfrey was not at practice today due to a discipline issue, and would not say whether or not he will see the field against the New York Jets.

This comes on the heels of a preseason where Winfrey was also benched in favor of two undrafted free agents in Roderick Perry and Glenn Logan without an explanation. It’s way too early to make a massive judgement on the fourth round pick, but it seems as though he’s been in the doghouse more than he has been out of it during his stay with the Browns.

Even Myles Garrett had comments on Winfrey, stating “it was pretty common knowledge… his actions were easy to see.”
