Penn State’s Class of 2022 is full of potential stars with players like running back Nicholas Singleton and defensive lineman Dani Dennis-Sutton. Among the additions in the recent recruiting class was one of the nation’s top quarterbacks, Drew Allar. There has been no shortage of attention paid to Allar and his potential outlook with the Nittany Lions as the expected successor to Sean Clifford. But Penn State’s other Class of 2022 quarterback is not to be overlooked, and he received some praise from offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich.
Beau Pribula, a three-star quarterback from York, PA, was one of the early enrollees, allowing him to get into the winter conditioning workouts with the program. Although Allar is the star of the class, Pribula is making a good impression with his new coaches. Yurcich mentioned Pribula as the team’s competitor of the day on Thursday.

It is always encouraging seeing some of Penn State’s newest faces getting recognized by the coaching staff during offseason workouts. Pribula wasn’t the only new player getting a shoutout from the coaching staff. Singleton was singled out among the running backs by running backs coach JaJuan Seider.
