Penn State looks to bounce back this week after taking its first loss of the season. And what better setting for a possible rebound win that the comforts of home in Beaver Stadium with a whiteout crowd bringing the noise. Penn State hosts Minnesota for this year’s edition of the whiteout under the primetime lights on national television. There is no doubt the views will look amazing on television, but concerns about Penn State have grown since last week’s loss at Michigan.
Minnesota is also looking for a rebound. The Gophers took their second loss of the season last week in a road loss against Illinois in a key Big Ten West Division battle. A win this week is important for both schools if they hope to keep their division goals alive heading into the final weekend of October.
