Well, the claim seemed to make sense. Until the fine print.
For some reason, Penn State football Twitter decided to claim a Nittany Lion has appeared in every Super Bowl.
Why, that is an amazing stat … except the fine print clarified it isn’t the case.
The tiny type read: EXCEPT FOR FIVE SINCE 1967
Needless to say, the message was not well received and social media could have been flagged for piling on … if it wasn’t so well-deserved.
