One of the top recruits from the state of Virginia will be announcing his college decision on July 5. [autotag]Tony Rojas[/autotag], a four-star linebacker who has long been on Penn State’s radar, is a player the Nittany Lions would love to add to the recruiting haul in the already impressive Class of 2023. And, by all indications, it appears as though momentum continues to be on Penn State’s side as that announcement date draws near.
According to the latest updates from the 247Sports crystal ball predictions, Rojas has one more Penn State prediction on the record. A day after 247Sports Director of Football Recruiting Steve Wiltfong cast his crystal ball pick for Penn State, Brian Dohn followed suit with his own Penn State crystal ball prediction for Rojas. Dohn is the National Recruiting analyst for 247Sports, giving Penn State some confidence from two of the top recruiting experts in the game two weeks out from an official announcement.
There are just three crystal ball predictions on the record at this moment, but they all go to Penn State for the Virginia native. As we outlined in his recruiting profile earlier today, Rojas has made multiple trips to State College to see what Penn State is all about with a pair of unofficial visits during the 2021 season, attendance at Penn State’s junior day event in January of this year and an official visit this past weekend.
Rojas will make his decision announcement on July 5. He will reportedly be choosing between Penn State, Georgia, Clemson, and Miami. Rojas has made an official visit to Clemson and has an official visit to Georgia scheduled for this weekend. Rojas announced he will not be making an official visit to Miami.
