Penn State OT Olu Fashanu declares for the 2024 NFL draft

Fashanu is widely projected to be a top-10 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft

One of the top offensive tackle prospects has officially entered his name into the 2024 NFL draft. Penn State standout Olu Fashanu formally declared for the draft and will be leaving the Nittany Lions program.

Fashanu started at left tackle for Penn State for the last two seasons and was credited with never allowing a sack in 20 games in that span. He is expected to be a first-round pick and could be the first offensive lineman selected in April’s draft. His declaration for the draft was widely expected after Fashanu dabbled with the idea of leaving for the 2023 NFL draft last winter.

Fashanu’s length and athleticism in pass protection are his biggest assets.
