Penn State offers 3-star offensive lineman Tavian Branch

Penn State sent this in-state offensive lineman home from a big recruiting weekend with a scholarship offer.

Penn State welcomed a number of potential recruiting targets to campus this weekend for the annual mid-summer White Out camp, and a number of players went home with a scholarship offer in hand. Among those receiving an offer from James Franklin and the Penn State staff was offensive lineman Tavian Branch.

Branch, a 6’4, 300-pound tackle from Taylor, PA, is rated a sa three-star recruit by Rivals in the Class of 2026. He does not yet have a recruiting rating from 247Sports or On3 at this time. Rivals also lists Branch as a defensive tackle, although Penn State is recruiting him to play offensive tackle. 247Sports and On3 each list Branch as an offensive lineman as well.

Penn State is the sixth offer in for Branch so far in the Class of 2026 recruiting process. Fellow Big Ten school Rutgers has also extended an offer. Other offers have come from Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Temple, and Kent State.

According to the early recruiting prediction machine outlook from On3, Penn State has a massive lead for Branch’s commitment this far out. On3 gives Penn State an 85.7% chance of securing a commitment from Branch at this point in time.

Penn State has already added one commitment for the offensive line in the Class of 2026. Penn State received a commitment from Kevin Brown, one of the top-rated players in Pennsylvania, the same weekend that resulted in Branch receiving an offer.
