Fresh off an unofficial visit to Penn State, four-star defensive lineman Will Norman has included the Nittany Lions among his top schools remaining in the running for his commitment. The Class of 2023 target announced his top seven schools earlier this week, with Penn State being one of two Big Ten programs remaining in the hunt for the IMG Academy lineman.
Norman, who is originally from New Jersey and previously played in Connecticut and moved south to enroll at IMG Academy last year, unveiled his top seven with a graphic shared on his Twitter account. In addition to Penn State, Norman listed LSU, Florida State, Texas A&M, Florida, Michigan, and Auburn among his top seven schools. Norman is clearly a hot commodity on the recruiting trail in the Class of 2023, and Penn State has been seen as a serious player. Norman has made two unofficial visits to Penn State’s campus. And, if all goes according to plan, Norman will come to a final decision before the start of the 2022 football season.
“Definitely before the season,” Norman told 247Sports when asked about any possible timeline for making a decision on his commitment. “I want to be committed before the season and after I take some officials.”
We will be paying close attention to this recruiting battle as Penn State hopes to land a four-star recruit on their defensive line in the Class of 2023.
