Penn State has not faced UCLA since 1968, but the Nittany Lions and Bruins are set to face for the first time in nearly 60 years when UCLA visits Penn State later this season. And we now know what time that game will kick off.
Penn State announced it will play UCLA at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 5. The game will air on Fox in the network’s Big Noon Kickoff slot. That will be the third noon start time for the Nittany Lions this season, and second time as Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff game. Penn State opened the season in Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff game at West Virginia in Week 1.
Penn State has also faced Bowling Green at noon in Week 2. That game aired on Big Ten Network.
Penn State is 2-4 all-time against UCLA in college football. All six meetings occurred between 1963 and 1968 as part of a home-and-home scheduling agreement between the two schools. Penn State is 1-2 against UCLA in home games.
Penn State will host Illinois in its first primetime game of the season this Saturday, with the game airing on NBC.
