Penn State continues to impress with its recruiting class for 2022. Today, they just landed four-star athlete Cristian Driver, the son of former Green Bay Packers legendary wide receiver Donald Driver.
Driver brings a lot of versatility to the table, which will be huge for the Nittany Lions. It will be interesting to see where his primary spot will be. Driver is now the 23rd commitment for the Nittany Lions in 2022 and the number 210 prospect nationally. He had other offers from big Power Five schools like Alabama, LSU and Ohio State.
Penn State has some impressive talent coming in these next few years and Christian Driver is one of them. The Nittany Lions’ 2022 recruiting class currently ranks second in the nation behind Ohio State.

It’s worth noting the special connection head coach James Franklin had to Driver on the recruiting trail. Franklin was a member of the Green Bay Packers coaching staff in 1995, where he coached Driver for a season. Apparently, a strong enough bond was forged during their brief time together, and that may have helped get an inside track on the recruiting process.
How would a @CristianDriver_ against @Donald_Driver80 matchup go?
Donald Driver says he is going 9/10 against his son!

While they have zero five-star recruits, Penn State has a pretty hefty amount of four-stars, now adding their 13th recruit with Driver.
The Nittany Lions have been crushing it with their recruits, and Driver is a huge get.
