Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram combined for 53 points on Monday as the Pelicans held off a late rally from the Celtics for a 115-109 win.
The Pelicans built a 17-point fourth-quarter lead that was trimmed down to three points in the final minute but Ingram and Williamson made enough plays down the stretch to secure a big road win for New Orleans.
After a step-back 3-pointer from Jayson Tatum pulled Boston to within 110-107 with 50.5 seconds left, Ingram responded with his own step-back jumper to push the lead back to five points.
Williamson would pull down the rebound on the next defensive possession and he and Ingram knocked down a sequence of free throws down the stretch to ice the game away.
Nickeil Alexander-Walker finished with 17, Josh Hart added 15 off the bench and Eric Bledsoe chipped in 13.
