In their best offensive showing of the year, the Pelicans poured 135 points on the Clippers on Sunday to win going away, 135-115.
Lonzo Ball kickstarted the Pelicans with 11 quick first-quarter points before Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson took over from there. The All-Star duo scored a combined 50 points and missed just eight shots on the night as New Orleans saw little resistance from the Clippers.
The Clippers never led on the night and trailed by double digits for most of the first half and the entirety of the second half. Six Pelicans scored in double figures with Jaxson Hayes setting a career-high with 17 points off the bench.
