After a successful debut year in GTD PRO, where Bryan Sellers and Madison Snow have a victory in the No. 1 BMW M4 GT3, sit third in the championship and the team leads the Michelin Endurance Cup, Paul Miller Racing is preparing to enter two M4 GT3 EVOs in IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship’s GTD PRO class for 2025.

“This is a pretty momentous day for all of us at the team,” said Paul Miller, team owner. “We’ve been a one-car operation since the team’s formation, but it’s very exciting for everyone to be in a position where we can run two cars— and in the top GT class, no less. The relationship with BMW has been a really excellent one and we’re excited to represent the brand with not one, but two incredible new M4 GT3 EVO machines in 2025.”

PMR moved to GTD PRO in 2024 after a record-setting 2023 season in GTD, scoring five victories and capturing the title. That followed the 2022 Sprint Cup Championship, and the team’s first GTD championship in 2018.

That 2018 title came with the No. 48 on the car, and the number will return for the second car in 2025. PMR ran the No. 48 up until the 2021 season winning not only the 2018 GTD championship but also the 2020 Rolex 24 at Daytona Michelin Endurance Cup that same year.

“2025 will mark a rebirth of Paul Miller Racing,” said team manager Mitchell Simmons. “With the addition of another GTD PRO car we will enter the 2025 season as a two-car PRO effort for the first time in history.

“We would like to thank Andreas Roos and his amazing crew on both sides of the pond that helped make this happen. And I know this entire team will work hard to bring BMW its first GTD PRO Championship.”

The second car is only one of many changes the team will experience over the off-season. Sellers has already announced that he will not be returning to the team in order to take on an expanded role at DXDT Racing. It is unknown whether Snow intends to remain with the team or not.

What is clear is that PMR is making the move with the support of BMW Motorsport, which previously ran a one-year factor effort in GTD PRO with BMW M Team RLL in the class’s first year in 2022.

“We are delighted that Paul Miller Racing is committing to the BMW M4 GT3 EVO for the upcoming IMSA season and is even expanding its involvement in the GTD Pro category to two cars,” Björn Lellmann, Head of Customer Racing at BMW M Motorsport said.

“The team is a true powerhouse in U.S. racing, having won many titles. We at BMW M Motorsport want to make our best possible contribution to ensure that Paul Miller Racing can aim for the title in its second season in the top GTD class.”

PMR has one more chance to capture a victory with Sellers, Snow and Neil Verhagen in 2024, next weekend’s Motul Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Announcements regarding the team’s lineup for 2024 will be made later.
