Paul Finebaum predicts winner of Georgia-Notre Dame

ESPN analyst Paul Finebaum stated his prediction for the Sugar Bowl between Georgia and Notre Dame

One of the most intriguing College Football Playoff matchups is between the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs and the No. 7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish, who looked like worldbeaters against in their 27-17 home win against the No. 10 Indiana Hoosiers.

There are many people that believe this matchup can have major impacts on the 2025 national championship.

When SEC analyst Paul Finebaum was asked about it, he remained steadfast in his praise for the Georgia Bulldogs. While he expressed concern with new starting quarterback Gunner Stockton, as some people have, he still believes that the Bulldogs will beat the Fighting Irish.

“I could easily see (Georgia) getting in trouble, but this team really had the most impossible schedule, and the fact they only have two losses is pretty remarkable, so I like Georgia,” Finebaum said.

There are many reasons why people believe in Notre Dame to win this match: none other than their running game. However, Georgia fans and Paul Finebaum are siding with Kirby Smart’s experience in big games.
