Patriots vs. Jets injury report: Updates on Maye, White and Stevenson

Here’s Thursday’s injury report for the Patriots and Jets

The New England Patriots released their second injury report of the week on Thursday with considerably more participants than they had in Wednesday’s report.

The only two players listed as non-participants were wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk and offensive guard Layden Robinson. Polk is currently in concussion protocol following an injury in the Week 7 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

So there’s a good chance he won’t be available to play in Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.

One of the bigger notes was rookie quarterback Drake Maye being completely removed from the report. He had been dealing with a knee injury that didn’t impact his availability against the Jaguars. So there was never any real concern with his status this week.

Regardless, he appears to have fully healed from whatever he was dealing with initially. Here are the full injury reports from the Patriots and Jets on Thursday:

Drake Maye injury update

Maye was removed completely from the injury report, which means he had no limitations at practice. Not much is known about his mysterious knee injury, but people can stop asking about it now that it’s no longer on the report.

Keion White injury update

After missing practice on Wednesday, edge rusher Keion White was back on the practice field on Thursday. He appears to be progressing from his ankle injury and possibly leaning in the direction of playing. The Patriots have lost enough personnel along their defensive front this season. They can’t afford to lose White, too.

Rhamondre Stevenson injury update

Stevenson missed Wednesday’s practice due to a personal reason, but he was back on the field on Thursday. He was a full participant and looks to be ready to go for Sunday’s game against the Jets.
