The New England Patriots added to their linebacker depth, signing LaRoy Reynolds on Wednesday.
Reynolds played in 16 games for the Atlanta Falcons last year. He recorded 12 tackles, a pass deflection and a forced fumble.
Reynolds also contributes on special teams, where the Virginia product has performed well over the years. As noted in a tweet from Mike Reiss, Reynolds has played in 122 games, and has tallied 57 special teams tackles.
With New England making several signings on the defensive side of the ball, Reynolds’ versatility could be an important component for a Patriots organization that appreciates adaptability in their players.

As New England continues to make signings of the course of this offseason, this was one that helps solidify the special teams unit, and can help the defense moving forward.
