Patriots rule two players out, deem seven questionable vs. Bears

The Patriots are already ruling two players out for Sunday’s game

The New England Patriots released their final injury report of the week on Friday, and the latest report brought the news that safety Kyle Dugger and linebacker Christian Elliss have both been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.

Dugger has been out with an ankle injury, while Elliss is dealing with an abdominal injury.

The team listed seven other players as questionable to play in Week 10, including Alex Austin, Daniel Ekuale, Michael Jordan, Vederian Lowe, Marte Mapu, Layden Robinson and Jaquelin Roy.

It’s a long list of injuries for a Patriots team that has been banged up all season.

Not having Dugger is a huge loss, but the defensive backfield has adjusted as well as possible in his absence with Jaylinn Hawkins and Dell Pettus.

Perhaps the most concerning name on the list is Lowe. The Patriots’ offensive line has been a revolving door this season, and it would be disastrous for rookie quarterback Drake Maye to go on the road in Chicago without the team’s top left tackle.
