New England Patriots offensive line coach Scott Peters indicated that the starters will play this week on the offensive line. This also means that Demontrey Jacobs will get the start at right tackle this week over rookie Caedan Wallace.
Wallace spent some time on injured reserve due to the ankle injury he suffered on October 4. He was activated for last Saturday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Jacobs has played in 11 games this season and started in nine of them. He has started in 12 games in total for a Patriots team that has made several changes along the offensive front this season. It appears as if the goal isn’t to rock the boat too much with the offensive line in Sunday’s finale.
Patriots OL coach Scott Peters was asked if Caedan Wallace would start at RT this week: “Coach has got the starters going.”
This means Demontrey Jacobs will start.

The Patriots have battled with inconsistency along the offensive line throughout the season. At the very least, Jacobs gives them experience in Sunday’s divisional showdown with the Buffalo Bills.
