Oh, man. What a goal from Patrik Schick of the Czech Republic, who delivered a half-pitch moon shot over the head of Scotland’s poor netminder and, in the process, may have delivered the score of Euro 2020 AND a world class meme.

Let’s start with the Schick goal: in transition and with one Scotland defender approaching, he chose to take a try just over the halfway line that caught David Marshall off-guard. Marshall ran back as fast as he could but couldn’t make the save … and got tangled up in the back of the net.

Not only did we see an unreal goal, but Marshall is fast becoming a meme on Monday:
