Patrick Mahomes touchdown celebration was an epic Bears troll job

Oof.

Chicago Bears fans certainly don’t need any reminder that their team — with a history of struggles at the quarterback position — drafted Mitchell Trubisky second overall (and traded up for him too!) in the 2017 NFL draft, and that he hasn’t lived up to that position.

It must have hit the die-hards at Soldier Field on Sunday that they were watching Patrick Mahomes — the 10th overall pick in that draft — sling the football and how he could have been in a Bears uniform … and that was before Mahomes reminded them after scoring a touchdown in a 26-3 Week 16 Kansas City Chiefs victory. He counted to ten on his fingers, the number of picks it took until he was chosen in that ’17 draft.

This is an all-time epic troll job:

Sorry, Bears fans. That’s rough. Mahomes had this to say about the celebration, refusing to say if he was really trolling the Bears. Via The Athletic:

“Honestly, I was just out there having fun,” he said. “Me and my teammates had a big score before the half and I was just trying to enjoy it. You see me play. I play with emotion. I like to go out there and have fun with my teammates.”
