You know the drill when it comes to Patrick Mahomes at this point. He’s the NFL’s best player (who pulled the strings to pick his own team), and he’s liable to do something incredible and unique to lift the Kansas City Chiefs to victory every single week. Big-time players make big-time plays, and they don’t get any bigger than Mahomes.
The unflappable man who wears the Chiefs’ red No. 15 pulled off yet another magic trick against the Cincinnati Bengals.
With the Chiefs looking to break a 17-17 tie in a rematch of last year’s AFC title game, they decided to go for broke on a pivotal fourth and goal in the third quarter. When no options in the end zone presented themselves on a Mahomes dropback, he took matters into his own hands.
The results were, predictably, incredible as Mahomes leaped over two Cincinnati defenders while extending the ball to punctuate an awesome “dunking” TD run:
PATRICK MAHOMES! UNREAL. 😱

What else can you say about this superstar at this point? My goodness. Here’s another close-up angle of the “Air Mahomes” touchdown.

You probably weren’t doing this, but it should be said anyway: If you have any doubts about the Chiefs’ chances to win any game, remember that Mahomes plays quarterback for them. As long as he’s taking the snaps, no big-time play is ever truly dead.
