In the modern pass-first NFL, games that feature 300 and 400 passing yards from quarterbacks have become routine, especially for the Kansas City Chiefs in the Patrick Mahomes era.
It seems that there is no stopping Mahomes when he drops back in the pocket and his place as the league’s preeminent quarterback has been well-earned. Entering the new season, Mahomes is the NFL’s leader in 400-yard games since 2020 and may add to his impressive total over the course of the Chiefs’ 17-tilt schedule.

While only separated from Dak Prescott and Joe Burrow by one game, Mahomes seems poised to put some distance between himself and the competition with the plethora of new receivers he has at his disposal.
Guys like Rashee Rice, Richie James, and Justyn Ross are sure to help Mahomes achieve more of the outstanding performances that have come to define his tenure in five years as Kansas City’s starting quarterback.
