Chiefs fans will never forget Patrick Mahomes’ three-play, 13-second drive at the end of last Sunday’s game against Buffalo that ended with Kansas City kicking a field goal to tie the game and send it to overtime, where they won the greatest NFL playoff game ever played, 42-36.
Since Sunday we’ve learned that tight end Travis Kelce played a huge part on the second play that led to the field goal, as he told Mahomes he was going to run a different route than the play called due to what he saw from Buffalo’s defense.
Well, now we know Kelce even called the first play of the drive and man, this guy’s football IQ is insane.
