It’s safe to say Russell Westbrook and Patrick Beverley don’t exactly get along.
Since the infamous Beverley ram into Westbrook back in 2013, the Minnesota Timberwolves guard and the Los Angeles Lakers star have had a history of back-and-forths.
Now? Beverley is stirring the pot on NBA trade deadline day with a tweet that read, “I remember when somebody said all I do is run around and I trick y’all [crying laughing emoji] well my boy is The Real Magician this year.”
Yep, that’s about Westbrook, and it’s a reference to a quote that’s from nearly THREE YEARS AGO!
I remember when somebody said all I do is run around and I trick y’all 😂 well my boy is The Real Magician this year.

And the Westbrook quote:
Russell Westbrook: “Pat Bev trick y’all, man, like he playing defense. He don’t guard nobody, man. He just running around, doing nothing.” Made sure to note that James Harden scored 47 tonight.

Yikes. Way to hit a guy when he’s down like Westbrook is with the Lakers, when he might get dealt on Thursday.
