Patrick Beverley likes the Brooklyn Nets coming into this season

Philadelphia 76ers guard Patrick Beverley recently said on his podcast that he likes what the Brooklyn Nets have going into this season.

The Brooklyn Nets head into the 2023-24 season with most expecting them to be somewhere between a team that misses the playoffs completely to a team that could fight for the fifth or sixth seed in the Eastern Conference.

Nets fans are hoping for the latter even though the franchise is trying to find its way after ending an era in which the organization was led by superstars in Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. It seems that Brooklyn has recovered from the unfortunate situation well as they are now led by promising young players in Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, and Nic Claxton, just to name a few.

This new era of youth and extra draft capital to possibly make a big trade in the future is something that many Nets fans can be proud of since the Nets are in a positive position. Philadelphia 76ers guard Patrick Beverley recently said on his podcast, where Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie was a guest, that he likes where the Nets are as a franchise right now:

“Obviously, Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Ben’s (Simmons) back. I like y’all. Obviously, you gotta go hoop with it but for the most part, I like what y’all got. Y’all got size, y’all got experience, y’all got a ton of size. I like the the rim protector (Nic Claxton). They solid.”
