Patrick Beverley calls Joel Embiid the most dominant player in the NBA

Los Angeles Lakers guard Patrick Beverley believes Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid is the most dominant player in the NBA.

Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid is one of the top players in the league regardless of position. The things he can do on the basketball court are absolutely terrific, and he can take a game over the blink of an eye.

Embiid became the first big man to lead the league in scoring since Shaquille O’Neal in 2000 at 30.6 points per game. He was the first big man to average 30 in a season since Moses Malone in 1982. There aren’t a lot of players in the league who can do what Embiid does. Especially, at his size.

Patrick Beverley of the Los Angeles Lakers believes Embiid is the most dominant player in the league:

He’s the most dominant player in the NBA … monster. No discredit to (Nikola) Jokic. Zero. He’s in a league of his own, obviously, but Joel is, yeah, you gotta send the whole thing at him. Everything.

Embiid and the Sixers will prepare for the 2022-23 season when they take on the Boston Celtics in the opener on Tuesday.
