Philadelphia 76ers guard Patrick Beverley and Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards have a good relationship from their days as teammates in Minnesota. Beverley had a lot of praise for Edwards heading into the matchup and they have mutual admiration.
Edwards has established himself as one of the rising stars in the NBA. He’s averaging 26.2 points, 5.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists while shooting 46.7% from the floor and 38.9% from deep. Beverley and Edwards spent the 2021-22 season helping Minnesota make a playoff appearance.
After the Sixers fell to the Timberwolves, 112-99, on Wednesday night, Beverley and Edwards exchanged jerseys. Beverley shared the video on his Instagram story along with some love for the budding superstar.

Beverley and the Sixers take on the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday to complete a two-game road trip and try to stop their two-game losing skid.
