All of the excitement, momentum and goodwill of Florida’s three-game winning streak were tossed away like a used diaper Saturday in Lexington.

The Gators stunk it up against Kentucky, looking like freshman and sophomores playing against seniors, which is what it kind of was.

UF’s once-lauded defense allowed Kentucky running back Ray Davis to rush for 206 yards in the first half and 280 for the game. The Gators made yet another huge special teams mistake that kept Kentucky on the field.
