There have been some great teams in Florida history that were almost there when it came to winning championships, but didn’t quite make it. Some of them received bowl hardware, but the spoils of those efforts are shoved into the corners of rarely seen trophy cases on campus instead of being proudly displayed in the Heavener Complex or in Dan Mullen’s office.
