Grinch seems to like what all bring to the table and has continuously rotated guys in. Jaden Davis and Woodi Washington featured as the starters this week, and they did well. There was a clear rotation between those two, DJ Graham and Latrell McCutchin at corner. At safety, more of the same as well. Justin Broiles played well, Key Lawrence played, and Bryson Washington played well, recovering a fumble and intercepting a pass for the first Sooners interception of the year.

What else can be said about Gabe Brkic at this point? He’s a machine. He blasted yet another field goal of 50+ yards. It’s his backup that is going to get the spotlight. Zach Schmit booted a 46 yarder and was 4/4 on extra points today when Brkic sat out the rest of the game to avoid any injury with the game well out of reach. The Sooners look to have possibly the best kicker in America while also having a capable backup.
Check back next week as we bring you the report card for the Sooners after they clash in a revival of a long rivalry with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, who visit Norman for the first time since they left the conference.
