Part 5: Peyton Manning discusses having ‘a relationship with your teammates’

KNOXVILLE – Former Tennessee quarterback Peyton Manning has kicked off a series of videos in which UT has posted on its Twitter account.

Manning’s fifth video installment in the series has him discussing the importance of having a relationship with teammates.

“It’s important to have a relationship with your teammates,” Manning said. “The really good teams get along off the field. Have a friendship, and if you do, then there’s going to be a respect level.”

Manning played for the Vols from 1994-97.

He holds many school and NFL records and went on to be one of the league’s all-time great quarterbacks.

At Tennessee, Manning remains a face of the program more than two decades after he left UT.

He was a two-time Super Bowl champion, a Super Bowl MVP and a five-time NFL MVP.
