Panthers Week 9 injury report: Chuba Hubbard out vs. Bengals

The Panthers have ruled out RB Chuba Hubbard for their Week 9 matchup with the Bengals.

For the second straight week, it’s going to be the D’Onta Foreman show headlining the Carolina Panthers’ backfield.

On Friday, the team ruled out running back Chuba Hubbard—who is still dealing with an ankle injury he sustained in Week 7’s upset win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hubbard will now miss his second game in a row.

That’ll, presumably, give way to another heavy day for Foreman—who probably won’t mind the work. The fifth-year veteran has rushed for 118 yards in both of these last two outings and is fresh off scoring a career-high three touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 8.

Joining Hubbard on the sideline in trip to Cincinnati will be safety Juston Burris, who has also been ruled out with a concussion. He, for the past four weeks, has helped fill the void left by Jeremy Chinn—who remains on injured reserve.

Here’s the final injury report ahead of the Panthers’ clash with the Bengals:
