Panthers Week 8 injury report: Jaycee Horn, Frankie Luvu questionable vs. Falcons

The Panthers could be without both Jaycee Horn and Frankie Luvu for a third straight outing.

The Carolina Panthers have been without two of their most important defenders in back-to-back weeks. And in a matchup with the claim to the NFC South’s No. 1 spot on the line, it could be the same story on Sunday.

Both cornerback Jaycee Horn and linebacker Frankie Luvu, who missed out on Carolina’s meetings with the Los Angeles Rams and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, have been listed as questionable for Week 8’s tilt with the Atlanta Falcons. Horn, who interim head coach Steve Wilks expects to be active, participated in full during Friday’s practice while Luvu was limited.

Additionally, running back Chuba Hubbard—who hasn’t practiced all week—has been ruled out due to his ankle injury. His absence will likely lead to a heavier workload for backfield mate D’Onta Foreman, who rushed for a game-high 118 yards in Week 7’s victory, with Raheem Blackshear behind him in the committee.
